This morning after yoga I went with Anne to Sciences Po to try to get our ID cards. What should have been a simple mission, going to the Office of International Affairs, turned into an hour long search through empty hallways. No one knew anything. So disorganized. We gave up. It's so French too -- nothing is clear, or on time, or planned well, or anything of that sort. They only care about things being perfect. But when it comes to administrative stuff, it drives me crazy.
But then I was walking to get my haircut, and I remembered why I love living here:
It is beautiful. I guess they do something right. And after my haircut I had delicious carrot cake from Rose Bakery. Mmmm.
Lille tomorrow. I'm excited!
