Mmmm.
Anyways, Sunday was spent cleaning my kitchen. It is now SPARKLING. And we can actually cook on it. I'm excited. The lady who lived here before was disgusting--a lot of her "clean" dishes has food stuck on them, and pots still had pasta in them...ew. It took me, Maria, and Liz three hours to clean the whole thing. And I went and bought new skillets and mugs today because I was not about to use hers. After cleaning, I went to yoga, did some hw, and fell asleep.
This morning on my walk to the metro I saw a middle-aged woman run after a black man. She was screaming in French, "Stop, you stole my bracelet!" She finally caught up with him and demanded that he open his hand. He opened the right, but not the left. She kept yelling at him, "Open your other hand! Take it out of your pocket! You stole my bracelet, I felt it!" He tried walking away but she kept catching up with him. By the time I turned the corner I saw that 5 more women went to back her up. Hope she got her bracelet back.
Went to visit the Sciences Po this morning to try to figure out when my class is going to be, and where. It's ridiculous, each week they post on the wall of the main building (not even online!!) the classes that start that week (or even just that day). Today they had this week's classes, but only through Wednesday. Mine wasn't there, or at least not that I could tell. So someone is going to check if it's posted tomorrow, or I'll have to go back on Monday morning. So disorganized. Then I went back to campus to try to use the internet (of course it wasn't working on campus even), and I napped until class started. Haha.
After class, I got the internet to work!! And bought some groceries. Very productive. I'm so excited to be reconnected to the world.
Also, apparently two people dreamed about me this weekend. Weird.
