Prelim classes finished today, yayy! I got back an essay today, and I am much less worried about my grade now. But the whole class still bugged me in principle. Which is too bad, because I really liked my professors.
Yesterday I finally just chilled. Got to catch up on Weeds (OMG, the end) and watch one episode of Mad Men. Made me feel more connected to the world.
Tonight, I'm going to a party to celebrate the end of these silly two weeks. On Monday my real semester starts...not that I still have a schedule finalized or anything. Tomorrow we're getting REAL internet installed (hopefully), and going on the Bateaux Mouches on the Seine. Saturday, party at my place! Should be a good weekend.
Also, I found this hilarious: the French have started having self-serve tanks of wine in their supermarkets! Only they would.
